Carrboro Creative Coworking

One of the first events scheduled for the space, before we where open even, was the Radiant CMS Code Sprint. When Sean Cribbs approached me about it I was psyched! I knew about this Ruby on Rails Content Management System and thought it great luck to have them here. One of the main reasons I created CCC was to have a place for creative communities to work in. Open Source software projects are a great example.

Folks arrived here at 8am and left late in the evening. People came from New York City, the District of Columbia, Raleigh, Cary, and other parts of the Triangle just to hack code. Sean had even raised money to pay for breakfast and lunch. (Which was nice BTW!) He ordered great sandwiches from Neal's Deli here in Carrboro. Big thanks to Sean! He organized this event like a pro and has been a great asset to CCC. Wonderful getting to know him as he works here.
