Henry Copeland emailed me to ask if I knew anyone who would make a good candidate for a job opening at Blog Ads. Blog Ads is one of the cool tech companies here in Carrboro. Here's the low down:


Blogads, a blog advertising firm based in Carrboro, NC, is hiring an assistant strategist to join the team selling advertising on PerezHilton.com and other high-profile blogs.

The hire will support the sales team by performing research, scheduling ads, completing contracts, and building proposals. She or he must have a keen interest in technology, the media and entertainment industries and online advertising.

Candidates should be meticulous and detail-oriented, hyper-organized and deadline-beating. The person will work closely with our team and needs to communicate coherently, cheerfully and concisely.

This is an entry level position. No prior experience is necessary. Negotiable start date on or around February 9, 2009.
